We love everything about screen print. Its unique texture, its flawed perfection, its bold colours and versatility.
Our studio, was founded in 2005 by husband and wife due Dale and Sharmaine Cornell. Its primary function was to service their own labels, NMBQ, So Forgotten, One2Tree4 and Post-Modern Delinquent.
However, it very quickly became a place for small and emerging labels to begin their own exploration of local screen print and manufacturing.
Today, our parent company New Model Beauty Queen has strong ties to the local fashion industry with capabilities of printing and manufacturing as well as providing a range of other services to independent and emerging brands in Australia. It is via New Model Beauty Queen that we work with and continue to support emerging Australian labels and brands that value sustainability in an increasingly unsustainable industry.
Our very first studio was located in Fitzroy. Once we outgrew our first home, we set up shop in Brunswick, close to our brick and mortar retail store. Once again we outgrew our home and in early 2020 we found our new (and hopefully forever) home in the northern suburb of Thomastown. If you would like to get in touch please email info@newmodelbeautyqueen.com or call Dale on 0404 149 571 to have a chat.
